What we store

Your sign-in email (Google OAuth) and, if you're not yet invited, the same email on our waitlist.
Your profile text — the searchable summary Zefra extracts from your resume and papers (your target roles, skills, research background). Documents are parsed in your browser; only the extracted text reaches our database.
Your resume file — kept in private storage that only your signed-in account can access, so you can re-download it and refresh suggestions. Uploading a new resume replaces the old file.
Your match activity — which postings were matched to you and the statuses/notes you set (interested, applied, not-fit reasons).
Job postings themselves are public data collected from employer job boards; they are shared across all users and contain nothing about you.

Each night your profile text is sent to LLM APIs (Anthropic, with OpenAI as fallback) to score job postings against your background. Under both providers' API terms, this data is not used to train their models.
Data lives in Supabase (Postgres, resume storage) and the site is served by Vercel.
Page analytics are collected by numai, which we build ourselves, so the data stays with us and is never sent to an advertising network. It is cookieless and carries nothing about your account: no cookie, no login, no email. Your raw IP address and browser string are never stored — they are turned at the edge into a daily-rotating visitor hash, a country/region, and browser/OS buckets, then discarded. Page addresses are recorded without their query string, apart from campaign tags (utm_*, ref, source).
We do not sell your data, share it with employers, or use it for anything other than matching jobs to you.

Your profile, resume file, and match history are kept while your account is active.
Delete everything yourself: Settings → Delete my profile removes your profile text, your resume file, and all your match history immediately.
For full account deletion (the sign-in record itself) or any data question, email us — we'll do it within a few days.
